"The ambience was quiet, but pleasant when I went there for breakfast. The wait staff we are friendly and helpful and this added to the relaxed feeling. I had the truffle scrambled eggs with some extra avocado on the side and it was nice. An unusual presentation being served in a bowl over some sourdough toast but it worked pretty well. I would’ve preferred stronger tasting sourdough bread but that’s personal preference. The coffee was okay. I’d come here for breakfast again."

"Recently visited this new cafe in Publika, and it’s absolutely worth checking out! The food and drinks are fantastic—highly recommend the Duck on Toast and the Signature Toastie. For coffee lovers, the Brown Butter Coffee is a must-try; it’s unique and delicious. The atmosphere has a relaxing French cafe vibe, perfect for unwinding, and the cafe owners are pretty, warm and welcoming. A great spot to visit!"

"Came here on a lovely Saturday. We ordered the Shakshouka, Smoked Duck Nasi Lemak, and a Mushroom on Toast (no pic for that one). Overall, the food was just okok. With the price paid, I honestly expected a bit more. There wasn’t really a memorable point for me this round. For drinks, we had flat whites and hot chocolate. Both were decent, nothing to complain about, but nothing that really stood out either."

"Love the food here, with the generous portion and strong flavours. The price may be little high but atleast the portion and taste make up for it. Tho the duck toast could maybe use something other bread other than a regular white toast. The truffle rigatoni was nice as well with not overpowering flavors. The coffee wasn’t bad. Service was good and waiters are attentive to customers need. The place is comfortable with warm tones and nice wood furniture all throughout with a pastry display in the middle of the cafe."

"Dropped by Sunnies at Publika and it honestly did not disappoint. The nasi lemak duck was rich and flavourful - crispy skin, tender meat, and the sambal was perfectly spicy. We also had the Pesto Rigatoni with Salmon, and wow… the pesto was fresh and creamy, and the salmon was cooked just right - soft, juicy, and full of flavour. Special love to Nick, who took such great care of us. Super kind, attentive, and made the whole dining experience memorable. It’s rare to feel that seen and welcomed — thank you for that, Nick! The space itself is bright and cozy, and the food speaks for itself. Definitely coming back."

"Loved their bright and cozy environment with the relaxing vibe. The coffee here is great, smooth and flavourful, with options for everyone. The menu also offers tasty food, like breakie toast, pastas, and healthy bowls. It's a perfect spot for hanging out with friends, working, or just enjoying a quiet moment."

"The food here is super tasty and looks amazing. The pesto pasta with salmon is creamy and full of flavor, and the crispy fried chicken on waffles with cured meat is a great mix of savory and satisfying. The eggy toast with smoked duck is so comforting and just right. The cozy and chill vibe makes it a nice place to eat, and I am sure I will be back to try more from the menu!"

"A great brunch at Publika! I always go for French toast whenever I'm out café hunting .. not just because it’s tasty, but also because I love the presentation.. This one had fluffy brioche paired perfectly with caramelized banana and ice cream.. So good! Also tried the hot Crème Brûlée latte .. smooth, sweet and comforting.. This cafe is definitely worth my visit !"
